The Mustang Derby – Last Chance to Donate

Did you know your student participated in our Annual Spring fundraiser this past Friday?  All students were invited to run, jog, skip, hop, or otherwise make their way around the school track to show their school spirit.  It was a wonderful event in great spring weather, and we can’t wait to do it again.

If you missed the chance to donate to your child’s team, you have one last chance to donate by this Friday, April 21^st.

Share your student’s donation link with your family and friends.  Use the Facebook and Instagram links on 99pledges, or send your link directly through email or text.  A brief personal message from you or your child about why funding the PTA is important to you will increase donations!

All donations through Friday will count towards prize earnings.  Your child still has an opportunity to earn lunch with their favorite teacher or with the Principal, a cool art supplies kit, a constellation light projector, or even a hoverboard – not to mention tons of plushies!  Ask your student what they most want, and help them reach their goal!

Even if your student is not signed up yet, it’s not too late!  You can still sign up at https://app.99pledges.com/fund/MustangDerby2023/addme.  All students who are signed up will receive a fun water bottle sticker, and they will entered in a drawing to win one of several amazing surprises – like a Spirit Wear bundle, 4 Tickets to Six Flags, or a Family Pack for the Spring Carnival.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help cover the costs of this year’s programs – things like the Spring Carnival, a wildlife assembly for all students, the upcoming Dance/Movement instructional rotation (following on the heels of Music and last Fall’s Performing Arts classes, also sponsored by the PTA), a thank-you lunch for amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, and so on.  We’re also hoping to leave next year’s PTA with a financial buffer to get them started in the Fall, so you will see more of your favorite events:  like the Back-to-School Fall Social and BBQ, the Reflections Art Show and Contest, Trunk or Treat, Red Ribbon Week, and the famous Mustang Roundup.
