We want YOU! Seeking volunteers for Fall PTA events…
We would like to get started with planning over the summer so these committees are not rushed at the beginning of the school year. If you would like to be involved with any of these—or with anything you’ve seen us do this year (or with something you haven’t seen…)—please email President@sspta.org or Victoria.Skornia@gmail.com (your new VP of Programs for the 2023-2024 school year).
If you are interested in helping with any of these Fall events, please let us know:
- Back to School Social event (like the Welcome Back BBQ)
- Reflections Art Show and Contest
- Trunk-or-Treat
- Mustang Roundup (silent and live auction fundraiser)
We are also looking for people to join our ongoing committees:
- Hospitality (organizing food for meetings and planning social events)
- Membership (reaching out to families and explaining what we do)
- Room Parents (helping teachers and facilitating family engagement within your class/grade)
- Yearbook (taking pictures at events)
- Communications (posting to social media)
- Recycling (collecting cans and bottles monthly at valet; supervising student ambassadors weekly around the campus)
- Spirit Wear (arranging for Mustang merchandise)
- Campus Beautification and Gardening (keeping Sulphur gorgeous!)
